The memorial bricks have been placed in the area close by the library walkway, where they will not be subjected to snow plowing, which was causing occasional bricks damage. Now, the bricks create a walkway to the nice sitting area in front of the library, where we placed two benches. As we continue to add new bricks we can expand the area as needed and eventually lay a more permanent base.

The Friends have been selling the bricks as one of the ways to supplement the budget of the library. If you are interested in purchasing a brick, you may find order information in the library across from the circulation desk. We try to place bricks twice a year, April and October—weather permitting.
